As part of a larger drainage and streetscape reconstruction project, the Central Nyack Community Center entry and access was part of the upgrade to make the existing building meet ADA accessibility requirements and code. This was a joint effort between the Town of Clarkstown Recreation Department, which oversaw the community center re-design and the Department of Environmental Conservation which oversaw the drainage project. The design team was led by McLaren Engineering, with Behan Associates as the Landscape Architects. Cal Mart Enterprises of Congers NY with assistance from Tilcon, NY, B & B Concrete and Ascape Landscape completed the construction in Fall 2015.
